When students at Hampshire College were charged with taking a deposed president’s barn and turning it into something by and for themselves, they came together to work through a planning, design and fund-raising process to create the Roos-Rohde House, a small for-students, by-students building at the heart of the campus. RK Studio and Wright Builders were charged with assisting students in this endeavor through the construction process, which included a student design-build of the interior architecture.
